After dismantling regional forces with the ECI’s and court’s help, the BJP is creating proxy parties to manufacture pseudo-regional alternatives, forces that appear regional but ultimately serve the BJP’s interests. Shinde Sena, NCP (AP), NCPI are the best examples.
