Government cuts windfall tax on fuel exports for the fortnight from September 16. Diesel duty falls to ₹20/litre, ATF to ₹15 and petrol to ₹0.50. The levy was introduced amid the West Asia crisis and is revised fortnightly based on global oil prices.
