REPORTER: Girls died of snake bites in tribal schools. Children still walk through mud and water to study. Abhijit: That is government failure. If schools had roads, transport and basic facilities, this would not happen. REPORTER: Government says human development has improved. Abhijit: Then where is the money going? No benches, broken windows, banners hiding damage. Ask those sitting in government. REPORTER: Will rural youth lead this now? Abhijit: India lives in villages. Until villages develop, India cannot become developed. First fix rural government schools.
