On August 4, she boarded the bus after getting off at the wrong stop during heavy rain. Police say the driver and conductor raped her before dropping her near Kashmere Gate. The incident raises serious questions about public transport safety. The bus had faulty CCTV, sleeper berths were covered with thick curtains, and there was reportedly no checking at the Noida-Delhi border.
